| dc.description.abstract | Předmětem této disertační práce je shrnout alespoň částečně aktuální poznatky týkající se rozsáhlé problematiky výskytu azbestu obecně i v Plzeňském kraji, stanovení vhodné metodiky pro zjišťování přítomnosti azbestu v usazeninách zemin v dané lokalitě na základě experimentálních analýz motivovaných analýzami v jiných státech a přesné určení jednotlivých typů azbestů ze sérií vzorků. Teoretická část seznamuje s obecným popisem a charakteristikou přírodních vláknitých materiálů nazývaných azbest, dále je zaměřena na metody a postupy zjišťování přítomnosti azbestu v usazeninách zemin, kde detailně jednotlivé použité experimentální metody popisuje. Zvláštní důraz je kladen na rentgenovou difrakci, která se stala naší hlavní metodou pro analýzu vzorků. Experimentální část je věnována studiu dvou sérií vzorků odebraných v jedné lokalitě kolem Plaské přehrady a zkoumaných za účelem potvrzení výskytu azbestiformního materiálu, stanovení vhodné metody zkoumání či kombinaci metod a následné určení konkrétního typu azbestu. Dále je experimentální část zaměřena na interpretaci naměřených výsledků a jejich zhodnocení na základě porovnávání s již přístupnými daty. | cs |

| dc.description.abstract-translated | The subject of this dissertation is to summarize, at least partially, the current knowledge concerning the extensive problems of asbestos occurrence in general and in the Pilsen region, to determine the appropriate methodology for detecting the presence of asbestos in soil sediments in the given locality based on experimental analyses motivated by analyses in other countries and to determine the exact types of asbestos from a series of samples. The theoretical part introduces the general description and characteristics of natural fibrous materials called asbestos, and then focuses on methods and procedures for the detection of asbestos in soil sediments, describing in detail the different experimental methods used. Particular emphasis is placed on X-ray diffraction, which has become our main method for analysing samples. The experimental part is devoted to the study of a series of samples taken at one location around the Plaska dam and examined to confirm the presence of asbestiform material, to determine the appropriate method of examination or combination of methods and then to determine the specific type of asbestos. Furthermore, the experimental part focuses on the interpretation of the measured results and their evaluation by comparison with already available data. | en |
