| Abstract: | Studie pojednává o románu Vladimira Sorokina Doktor Garin (2021) a jeho vztahu k dalším autorovým prózám. Analyzuje přímá tematická, motivická a ideová propojení, všímá si aluzí. Konstatuje, že Sorokin vytvořil ucelenou a časově návaznou projekci zabírající 20.–60. léta 21. století. Výklad se soustředí na vizionářskou a anticipační složku Sorokinova díla, a to zvláště směrem k (ruské) politice, geopolitice a moderním technologiím. Mezi texty sleduje vývoj na trajektorii totalita – anarchie – regionalismus – globalizace a digitalizace – technologická askeze – realizace transhumanistických idejí. Doktora Garina vyhodnocuje oproti komparovaným textů jako dílo jedinečné co do adorace jednoduchých principů života a základních hodnot. |
| Abstract in different language: | The study deals with Vladimir Sorokin‘s novel Doctor Garin (2021) and its relation to the author‘s other prose works. It analyses direct thematic, motivic and ideological connections, noting allusions beetwen texts. It notes that Sorokin has created a coherent and time-sequential projection occupying the period 2020–2060. The inter- pretation focuses on the visionary and anticipatory component of Sorokin‘s work, especially towards (Russian) politics, geopolitics and modern technologies. Among the texts, it traces developments along the trajectory of totalitarianism – anarchy – regionalism – globalization and digitalization – technological asceticism – the realization of transhumanist ideas. It evaluates Doctor Garin as unique in its adoration of the simple principles of life and fundamental values when compared to the comparing texts. |
