| Abstract: | Diplomová práce pojednává o Společné zahraniční a bezpečnostní politice Evropské unie. Nejprve se práce zaměřuje na historický kontext evropského integračního procesu, kde se zabývá historií zahraniční a bezpečnostní politiky ve vztahu k původním Evropským společenstvím, k nejvýznamnějším smlouvám přijatých v historii integrace a k rozšiřování EU. Následně se soustředí na popis zákonných pravomocí klíčových institucí SZBP jako jsou Evropská rada, Rada Evropské unie, Vysoký představitel Unie pro zahraniční věci a bezpečnostní politiku a další. V další části je popsána SZBP a SBOP a jejich právní nástroje realizace jejich činnosti. V závěru jsou zmíněny faktické příklady nástrojů užívaných ve vztahu k vybraným státům a specifickým situacím. Země byly vybrány hlavně pro různorodost a odlišnost praktických případů. Diplomová práce přináší komplexní přehled informací o SZBP a výklad právní úpravy dle Smlouvy o Evropské unii a Smlouvy o fungování Evropské unie. |
| Abstract in different language: | The thesis concerns the Common Foreign and Security Policy of the European Union. First of all, the thesis focuses on the historical context of the European integration process, reviewing the history of foreign and security policy in relation to the original European Communities, the most significant treaties adopted in the history of integration and the enlargement of the EU. Subsequently, it proceeds to describe the legal powers of key CFSP institutions such as the European Council, the Council of the European Union, the High Representative of the Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy and others. The following section describes the CFSP and CSDP and their legal instruments for the practical implementation of their activities. Finally, it provides specific examples of the instruments used in connection with selected countries and specific situations. Countries have been chosen mainly because of the diversity and difference in practical cases. The thesis provides a comprehensive overview of information on the CFSP and an interpretation of the legislation under the Treaty on European Union and the Treaty on the Functioning of the European Union. |
